God
Looked
Down
On
His
Creation
And
Stared
In wonder
For
What
Seemed
Eternity
Finally
He turned
To His
Dog
Bosco
You were
Right
From the start
I should
Have made
Them
Dogs
I don’t know
What I
Was
Hoping
For
God
Looked
Down
On
His
Creation
And
Stared
In wonder
For
What
Seemed
Eternity
Finally
He turned
To His
Dog
Bosco
You were
Right
From the start
I should
Have made
Them
Dogs
I don’t know
What I
Was
Hoping
For
Amen.
Be encouraged my friend!
I’d agree with him.>KB
Dogs are most assuredly our moral superiors.
Yes, but if I can come back in another life form I want to be an otter.
Oh! Yes! Otters seem to have so much damned fun. I’d want to come back a dolphin, but i am predictable that way…or maybe something winged.
Otters!
I love this
Thank you for your comment. It is always feels better when a reader takes the momet to even just say they liked a piece. I am glad you found some pleasure in it.>KB
Absolutely, the reward in writing is in the recieving.
You are more than welcome.
To be honest the reward in writing, is in writing which is full of twists and turns and proving to yourself that some time, some where, some how, what you have one will mean the same thing to someone as it did for you.>KB
True, I sometimes wallow in the writing as if it is the notation of true memories and as a result I am unsure of its intent but loved the process. When someone comes along and shares the joy in it, well, its incomparable and a great reward, but agreed it is not the only reward.
I surely did not mean to belittle the thought of the pleasure to be had from one’s work finding some appreciation. We all have egos to stroke. I have sign above my desk that reads ‘too much ego will ruin your talent’ that and always living with the idea that one day it can all just go away makes one wary of too much praise. But it is good when you see that what you have done on a rare ocassion has truly made a difference to someone. >KB
Love this!
I was glad to hear tat Ants was in a good mood. Funny story though.>KB
Terrific poem! And I loved the dog’s name.
Thanks, it was the name of a chocolate syrup you mixed to make chocolate milk when I was a kid., >KB
